  • Booking Procedure if you DO NOT require a visa

    Step 1: Decide what type and board of accommodation you would like to book

    Step 2: Fill in either an online application form, or download one from the website

    Step 3: You will be issued with an invoice or you can pay on the website

    Step 4: Once the school has received your payment, your booking will be forwarded to SimpleStudy

    Step 5: The agency will then book your accommodation and send you your accommodation details

    Note: 2 week notice is required to book, change or cancel accommodation.
  • Booking Procedure if you require a visa

    Step 1: Decide what type and board of accommodation you would like to book

    Step 2: Fill in either an online application form, or download one from the website

    Step 3: You will be issued with an invoice or you can pay on the website

    Step 4: Once the school has received your payment, you will receive your Provisional Address

    Step 6: Once you have received a visa, you will need to notify the school and give 2 weeks notice

    Step 7: Your booking will be then forwarded to SimpleStudy who will start looking for a host family.

    Step 8: The agency will then book your exact accommodation and send you your accommodation details

    Note: If you are refused visa entry, you will then be able to request a letter with new dates or ask for refund.

    Note: We need 2 weeks notice for the agency to find accommodation after you have received your visa.

    • Families will be British, but may not always be English. English Language will be the main language spoken at home.
  • YOUR STAY

    • Once you have received your accommodation details, you will need to get in touch to arrange your arrival time
    • If you are planning to arrive very late we advice that you book an airport transfer
    • If you wish to use kitchen facilities you need to book Self Catering accommodation
    • You should be allowed to make coffee and tea and sandwiches and have access to microwave.
    • If you have booked breakfast or dinner meals you will have same meals as the family
    • Only invite guests to the house or your room if you have prior permission from your host
    • Guests are not allowed to stay over night without express permission from Host Family
    • You will be responsible for keeping your room clean and tidy
    • The room will be cleaned, and the bedlinen changed, once a week.
    • You should have your own key for the main doors
    • In your bedroom, you should have a full-sized bed, a desk and a chair, a wardrobe, table light and adequate heating and ventilation.
    • You should have access to washing machine facilities once a week but you may need to buy your own detergent
    • Your host family should talk to you in English
  • Homestay
    Your Homestay may consist of a family, couple with or without children, single parents or single person
    Self Catering
    This means that you will have access to kitchen but you will need to buy your own food. If you do not book this facility, you will be permited to make coffee and tea and sandwiches
    B&B
    This means that your host will make you or offer you breakfast
    Half Board
    This means that your host will make you or offer you breakfast and will make you dinner from the products that they will buy
    Single
    Single rooms are suitable for one person only
    Double
    Double room has a double bed. Its perfect if you need more space or if you are traveling as a couple. if you wish to book a room alone, DOUBLE ROOM rates apply if you book a room as couple, Twin room rates apply.
    Twin
    Twin rooms are perfect for people on a budget. You can book a room together with your friend or ask us to find someone to share a room with. in this case just book twin room and we will choose a person of the same gender who will be in UK at the same time
    Triple
    Triple rooms are available only subject to availablity and only for people traveling together
    WIFI
    Most our hosts have Free WIFI, but you will need to bring your own laptop. If it is important to you, then please notify us at the time of booking
